    hey,

    are there any tutorials sites that cover the whole basics of Haxe. Just need to get started. It would be good
    if the tutorial would be newb friendly, since I never programmed before. And is the book haxe 2 biginners guide outdated and friendly for
    people who never programmed before and dont know what a syntax and oop is?

    I think both the Haxe books are good reference books on Haxe but some aspects do go out of date, there are some parts of first Haxe book that give more depth than the second while being sort of out of date but haxe2 book is fairly upto date, and covers most of the day to day stuff and gives deep insight and only missing a few newer things that are somewhat icing, and it seems to be explain coding well so it would be a good investment, and a good place to start with coding generally.

    HaXe is a good coding language to learn concepts because it is easy to get graphical, it has a mix of functional and oop concepts and is fairly simple and syntax limited.

    If you look carefully at the tutorials on haxe.org you will find that much of the important stuff is covered, then maybe drop in on the haxe IRC and you will most probably as a new user get a lot of help. If your not familar with IRC you just get the chatzilla plugin for firefox, then in the app click on freenode, then in the text area type /join #haxe, and then start asking questions, or you can ask questions here or on haxenme.org if it's NME related.

    You can check this site - http://haxelearning.wikispaces.com/. It covers the basics for Haxe for beginners. It is constantly being updated.
