The wiki page:
http://haxe.org/doc/haxelib/building_haxelib... seems to be outdated. CVS asks for password and after empty password I get:
Logging in to :pserver:anonymous@cvs.motion-twin.com:2401/cvsroot CVS password: cvs login: CVS password file /root/.cvspass does not exist - creating a new file cvs server: cannot find module `haxe/std/tools/haxelib' - ignored cvs [checkout aborted]: cannot expand modules Fatal error: exception Failure("File not found ./haxe/std/tools/haxelib/haxelib.hxml") mv: cannot stat `./haxelib*': No such file or directory mv: cannot stat `./index.*': No such file or directory mkdir: cannot create directory `/haxelib': File exists cp: cannot stat `./bin-haxelib/*': No such file or directory

I think haxelib and other tools can now be found on SVN now.
http://code.google.com/p/haxe/source/browse/#svn%2Ftrunk%2Fstd%2Ftools%2Fhaxelib
I would be inclined on linux to try installing everything via the link on haxenme.org unless you need a cutting edge Haxe, haxelib rarely changes so prob best to install from haxenme and then you can update the Haxe and std from the nightlies. Does that help, sorry I am not sure if the haxelib doc's are up to date, but suggest you look at mac and windows instructions as well, I am not sure any parts are on cvs any more, should be on svn and I think Nicolas is working on a git mirror. -

Thanks. I have the build system running with the NME installer.

Cool, glad that worked, I know Jacob has put a lot of work to improve the NME install, maybe his new approaches will be used for Haxe 3 to reduce any future install issues.
