haXe Forum > 64 bit Linux binaries?

  Would it be possible to supply 64-bit binaries for Linux as well? This would make it much easier to get started quickly.

  The Ubuntu-specific installation instructions don't seem to work for Ubuntu 10.04.1 (hits the issue of installed libgc being 64 bit).

  Ubuntu does ship with a 64-bit version of haxe, but it's older version 2.04. I tried compiling from source, but got an error in the install script (reported as issue #199); I'm not familiar enough with ocaml to debug it myself.
