I am trying to run the installer for HAXE on snow leopard and I keep getting the same issue over and over again. I have read on other sites that you should make sure that any proxy you have running is turned off. I check in my network settings to see if anything was check and I don't see that any http proxy is running yet I keep getting the same issue.

If anyone can help with this that would be awesome.

I have never had any problems installing basic haXe on a mac. But you can download the manual install zip can't you?

Yeah I can download the manual install. Just thought I would try to run the installer so I didn't have do the manual one.
The installer just runs commands that the manual install does right? Aren't I going to run into the same issue?

I found the solution on another post. The solution is you need to trash your /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/preferences.plist file. Reboot and then run the installer and you are good to go.
